30th January 2011

Mood: Tired

Just recover from sick...and i feel soooo tired!! Everyone seems to says i look tired, and my skin look dull and dry...omgosh!! Been looking through the website for tips to have clear, glowing, and gorgeous skin. Hereby, share with you all, an easy and fast way to have your skin glow which i get it from "wikihow"!

How to Make Your Skin Glow In Minutes!

A 15-minute treatment that will result in soft, glowing skin. Easy to make at home, luxurious to use and quite a lot less expensive than the beauty salon.

Step 1
Things You'll Need - Papaya, Water, and if possible add honey!

Step 2
Rub a piece of cut papaya flesh on your face and neck gently for 15 mins.

Step 3
Let the rubbed-on papaya sit for 15 minutes.

Step 4
Rinse off with warm water.

Step 5
Rinse again with cool water. This will close the pores. Wipe off with clean towel.

Step 6
Touch your face and feel the difference. Your face should feel and look much more radiant and feel good

Finally, Touch up with some moisturizer if needed. If your face feels dry, just apply toner/moisturizer. Use as natural a moisturizer if possible.

Apart from this, remember drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. This will help clear your skin and give it a glow, because it will help rid toxins from your body.

Why papaya?
The reason this treatment works is because of a chemical in the papaya called papain, which breaks down proteins. (Papain is also found in meat tenderizers.) Because the upper layers of skin contain a protein called keratin, the papain breaks down this protein. This dissolves the upper layers of skin and allows the more moist layers underneath to show.
